Hey guys, I have received many feedback regarding breastfeeding since my last post and many mom-to-be are clueless (just like me before giving birth) about which pump to use, how often should we pump and etc.

Direct latching is the best way to feed the baby but sometimes you might need to pump your milk due to some reasons like you are getting back to work and baby is not by your side 24/7.

今天来分享关于挤奶器啦~ 新手妈妈一定会问到底哪一个挤奶器适合我呢？其实亲喂真的是最方便的，不过当你需要上班/出门，就得用到挤奶器啦。

Which Pump Is Suitable For Me?

First of all, you have to measure your own nipple size.

Our nipple size may change and areolas may darken due to our pregnancy hormones. Some suggest to buy the breast pump after your childbirth but I prepared it earlier.

第一最重要的是量你的乳头尺寸（用布尺量）然后再买对的size. 记得别太早买因为我们的乳头可能会变大，建议孕后期再去购买。

I have personally used few pumps and here's my opinions about them. 

Breast Pumps 挤奶器

1. Youha Onyx Duo Black Series + Double Pump

Pros: Mid-range price (around RM500+), silent, many different modes, time display, auto stops at 30 min

Cons: Original flange size is small around 21mm, the machine can't be fitted into pocket

好处：价钱中等，静音，不同模式，有显示时间，30分钟后自动关机，电池寿命长

坏处：喇叭尺寸偏小 (21mm), 主机放不进口袋

2. Bebebao (Machine only)

This brand is almost similar to Youha Black Onyx in terms of design, functions etc. 

Pros: Affordable (around RM100+), silent, time display, auto stops at 30 min

Cons: Short battery life, original flange size is small around 21mm

好处：（外观和Youha非常相似）价钱便宜，静音，有显示时间，30分钟后自动关机

坏处：电池不耐用，喇叭尺寸偏小 (21mm)， 放不进口袋

3. Real Bubee + Double Pump

Pros: Dirt cheap (RM40+), light，silent

Cons: Need to charge with USB adapter for every single use, no time display

    

好处： 非常便宜，轻便，静音

坏处：需要一边充电，没有显示时间

All the above are machines and I bought handsfree cup separately. Handsfree cup means you do not have to hold the pumps with your hands and just tuck them into the bra, you are free to move around. There are many brands in the market like Spectra, Freemie and I have chosen Youcup.

以上说的都是机器配挤奶罐。我另外买了免手扶挤奶杯Youcup，把它放在内衣里就可以解放双手啦。

Handsfree - YouCup 免手扶挤奶杯

Comes with 24mm/ 28mm

Pros: Convenient, can add insert (21mm etc), able to connect to all the machines above

Cons: Tubes might dislodge if not fixed properly, have to sit up straight or else the milk might flow back into the tubes

好处：方便，可以另外加内衬(21mm), 可以配以上所说的机器

坏处： 塑胶管容易松，得坐直否则奶会倒流

If you wish to get a handsfree + tubeless pump （免手扶+无塑胶管的), you may consider Imani i2, SuperMama Air, Willow Pump and etc.

Haakaa集奶杯

Many have asked about this and this is not a breast pump, instead it is a useful milk collector. When you let your baby latch on one side, the milk might leak at the other side, just place this on and you won't waste a single drop of your milk. 

I would suggest to get the original brand as the suction is the strongest among all.

这个不是挤奶器，当你边亲喂，而另一边在漏奶可以把Haakaa放在那边收集奶。建议买正版的因为吸力比较强。

Tips

1. Better use double pump to save time.

2. Get a handsfree cup to make your pumping life easier! (otherwise you may use handsfree bra and attach the double pump but I find that way to be quite troublesome for me)
