Lingua Gustatio: The Garden Banana Leaf Restaurant

Indian cuisine has always captured my taste buds and made me longing for more. Authentic Indian foods are all about herbs and spices and I particularly miss the strong and genuine flavours served in The Garden.

It's situated along the Free School Road, right opposite the D' Fat Mona Lisa Cafe but it could be missed as the signage was pretty vague.

They serve marvellous Banana Leaf Rice (RM7) without MSG, commercial salt & recycle oil and you could choose between parboiled rice or normal white rice for your lunch.
The vege side dishes are different each day. For today, there is fried bitter gourd, potatoes, long beans and the usual rasam and dhal.

On Fridays, they will serve special Vege Briyani rice (RM9) and I would advise you to be there as early as 12PM to avoid long waiting time.
My fav fried cauliflower (gobi 65), tofu, salad and the insanely addicting papadum.

Nannari Juice (RM2)
A refreshing drink made of unique herb named Sarasaprilla and enhanced with lime extract.
