Yes I visited our neighbouring country again (basically an annual trip haha) but it was my first time bound to BKK actually.
(Penangites usually visit the southern Thailand, namely Hatyai.)

DAY 1: AIRPORT - RAMBUTTRI VILLAGE INN - KHAOSAN ROAD
Arrived the airport at 3PM local time and it took us 45 mins (Uber 350baht) to get to this Rambuttri Village Inn & Plaza (Around RM120 per night)
下午3点抵达机场，搭优步用了45分钟抵达我们的酒店。

The room was decent and satisfactory in terms of cleanliness and service but there might be some hassle due to lack of elevator, we gotta carry our own luggage to the 3rd floor.
房间舒适干净，只不过他们没有电梯，要自己把旅行箱杠上3楼的房间。

接着我们就下去Khao San Road 逛一下啦。（2分钟路程）

Coconut ice cream (50baht) 凉爽的椰肉冰淇淋
Khaosan is full of night bars, clubs and of course tourists like us.
这里有很多夜店，酒吧还有我们这些外国人。

Supper: Pork Noodle which was not to my liking due to heavy scent of the coriander and black pepper. (50baht)

DAY 2: BREAKFAST (STREET FOOD) - THE GRAND PALACE - LUNCH (SIAM HOUSE) - PINNACLE LUMPINEE HOTEL - SIAM SQUARE - CIELO SKY BAR
Braised pork trotter rice is a must-have in Thailand and we were fascinated even a small roadside dish could win our hearts
with such tenderly flavoured meat. (50baht)
我们在酒店附近吃这路边焖猪脚饭，味道很棒又便宜.
Walked 2km to The Grand Palace as it was not worth to take grab/uber and it's the mourning period for the late King and thus most of the roads were denied access.
接着我们走2公里去到大皇宫。现在是先王哀悼期，
所以主要的路是封着，车子也不能进去。

We had a sip of coffee at this Au Bon Pain opposite the Grand Palace as we were too early (opens at 9.30AM - 3.30PM)
我们在对面的咖啡馆歇一会，因为大皇宫9点半才开门，我们太早啦。
Q-ing for tickets 500baht each. Mind the dress code -
strictly no shorts or sleeveless.
排队买票500铢，记得短裤，无袖都不可以进去。
Mesmerizing, classic, elegant 哇，好壮观呀。
The weather certainly could kill puteri lilin like me. (I'm photosensitive) and we left after 2 hours of walking under the hot sun and being pushed here and there by the tourists from Cxxx.
其实皇宫真的不小，我们大约走了2小时（在太阳底下）快要晒死了。
接着我们就回酒店啦。
Rated #49 best restaurant in Tripadvisor, we decided to give it a try.

Siam House at Silom Soi 20, family owned, petite and cozy with friendly service.
台面不大，不过有点温馨家室的感觉。
Our heavy 870baht lunch was utterly worth every single penny. Every dish was right on the point except for the pink dessert which was slightly bizarre with the butter bread dipped in syrup shaved ice.
我们都很满意这午餐，东炎公，春卷，焖猪脚都味道十足，唯独是那粉红色的面包刨冰，有点奇怪。
Next stop, moved to Pinnacle Lumpinee Hotel (around RM132 with breakfast)
接着我们搬去另一家酒店啦。

房间大而舒适，又有茶水，保险箱，位置于市中心，的确比昨天的酒店好得多。

逛了就饿了，试了这日本套餐，还不错。
Ahhhh finally I get to meet #afteryou, the renowned sweet tooth haven in Thailand.
Ferrero Toast (235baht), undoubtedly sweet (perhaps too sweet for me) and the price is at the higher side.
其实我最最最期待的就是After You甜点! 我们点了这个Ferrero烤面包，是还蛮甜的，价钱也略高。可能下次应该点其他的。
Pardon my saliva drooling face 流口水了。
Skybar is also in our must-go list. We chose Cielo Skybar as the price was slightly lower than the others.
露天酒吧也是曼谷必去的地方。我们选了这间因为价格略显低一些。

I would not say the Mojito (350baht) is the best but I think it was fair,
not so extraordinary.
Btw, just to remind that the snacks were overpriced such as a small bowl of fries was charged at 350baht.
酒精饮品都是不错的，只不过记得他们家的小吃都超贵的。

DAY 3: PLATINUM FASHION MALL - NEW ROT FAI MARKET
Rise and shine, buffet breakfast provided by the Pinnacle Lumpinee Hotel.
今天早餐是酒店提供的，食物种类不少。

Next headed to Platinum Fashion Mall which houses numerous wholesale retails. No pics of the mall as I was too busy to do my shopping. lol Besides, some of the vendors would carry some big luggage to purchase the products in bulk.
今天目的就是血拚到底！Platinum Fashion Mall 是城中著名的直销商场，很多卖家都是拖着大大小小行李来扫货的。

New Rot Fai (Rachada) market is where we spent our last night in Bkk. It's new, spacious with many varieties of food and entertainment. However, it was a Friday night which traffic congestion was expected and
it took us almost one hour to get there.
回酒店休息一会，我们又出发了，搭了1小时的车去这个New Rot Fai夜市因为今天是星期五，曼谷的塞车状况是很恐怖的我们的三倍。

A sudden downpour had filled the drains and made us drenched. Therefore, we stopped by at a little stall selling grilled seafood.
那天天气不好，一直下大雨（槟城淹水那天），所以我们只好在随便一个档口坐下，就坐在这烤海鲜的地方了。

Gigantic fish and prawn, grilled to a perfection and with light seasalt seasoning.
大虾子，螃蟹和鱼以传统的烧烤方式加上海盐来提味。

配上啤酒就一级棒啦。

DAY 4: CHATUCHAK MARKET - DON MUEANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Last day and we decided to visit Chatuchak Weekend Market but too bad due to time constraint, we had to leave early to catch our flight.
来到最后一天了，我们去最大的跳蚤市场逛一逛。
Lil glimpse of the market, the world largest weekend market that made us lose our way and no doubt, the products sold are beyond your expectation, ranging from homecare, fashion, pets to whatever you name it.
这里应有尽有，家居物品，时装，宠物，还有很多很多，我们都没什么时间去逗留因为要赶飞机。所以就再见啦曼谷!
