1. Nasi Lemak Ong
This renowned nasi lemak has been in town for years and it has expanded from alfresco style to a indoor shoplot. The foodies will pick the favourite dish (by pointing at it) and Uncle Ong will prepare it and lastly pour the curry according to your choice. Mind the spiciness by the way.
这是亚罗士打鼎鼎大名的椰浆饭，你可以选要吃的菜式，老板会准备及淋上咖喱汁。
（不能吃辣的要跟老板说哦）

Squids, fried chicken and honey chicken will always be our first choice. The price is on the higher side around RM8-10 and can go up to RM15 if you order the beef or fried catfish. Overall it was a pleasant feast *burps* but I would not really describe it as nasi lemak,
or perhaps call it Chinese nasi kandar instead. lol
平时我都会选择炸鸡或咖喱苏东，价钱就大约8块钱以上，如果点牛肉还是鲶鱼就可能会是15令吉左右。其实我认为这比较像Nasi Kandar.呵呵

2. Tiffz Coffee Gallery
I've mentioned about this cafe before as it is one of my fav in Alor Setar. Read more about it here.
之前介绍过了，我还是蛮喜欢这咖啡厅的。
Don't really remember what was this but this was rather weird to be honest..lol as the sweetness from the sauce had covered the entire pasta. I personally don't like sweet pasta.. perhaps you can try it because it is quite unique in terms of savoury.
不过今天点的这意大利面有点奇怪。。。因为有点甜。。。
味道是挺特别的。下次还是点回carbonara好了。呵呵

3. Restoran Arabian Delight
I am a fan of Arabian cuisine especially the Nasi Arab Mendy which is cooked with mixtures of spices and meat (lamb or chicken). This was RM24 for 2 pax but we shared it for 3 girls.(we always can't finish the huge portion of the rice)
最近尝试了阿拉伯菜式就发现其实很好吃，他和印度饭相似因为都放了很多的香料。（个人很爱印度餐）我们3个女生一起share两人份的Mendy鸡饭，刚刚好吃完。
Besides mendy, sharwarma is also crowd-pleasing with the grilled seasoned chicken wrapped with the pita (bread).
这烤鸡块夹面包也很美味，肉质不会说太硬而且又香味十足。

4. Sabaidee Jitra
Thai cuisine is everywhere to be found in Alor Setar and this restaurant is particularly secluded in somewhere near the paddy field of Jitra. The light of the restaurant is romantically dimmed and the food is reasonably priced and undoubtedly aroi~

5. Rakuraku
Lastly, we had farewell at this Japanese restaurant...sobs sorry getting abit emotional here. lol I would say this restaurant serves affordable Japanese fusion cuisine but the food is not too overly exciting for me.
其实亚罗士打日本餐厅真的不多，虽然说这里的食物比较中规中矩，不过已经是不错了，
价钱也很公道。
I would suggest this *cant-remember-the-name-maki* as the it has the fried prawn sandwiched between the rolled rice and the pleasing creamy mentai sauce.
这炸虾子寿司味道不错，值得推荐。
