DoroT: Terrarium Workshop @ Urban Green Cabin

Gardening could be tiring yet interesting but what about a mini gardening under the glass? People in the city would love that as you just need a fun-sized container and grow your own plants in an idle weekend.  现代人应该对种植没什么兴趣可是最近很流行的玩意就是玻璃盆景，小巧而时尚。

Urban Green Cabin is where you could blend all your creativity into a terrarium glass. UGC has a team of enthusiasts guiding you on how to design your own terrarium from scratch. There are basically 2 types of terrarium glasses: open type and enclosed type. Different plants flourish on different environments. Eg: Moss is best cultivated in a closed jar.
这里有专人特别教导怎么把你的艺术细胞发挥的淋漓尽致。玻璃球有分开放式和关闭式。比如苔藓就适合种在关闭式玻璃。

Have you heard of terrarium buffet? Yes, you could cram everything you like into the terrarium glass with just merely RM40 (open type) or RM65 (enclosed type). So first, you gotta choose your own glass. 特别的是他们还有提供自助式服务，把你喜欢的通通放进玻璃球里，只需要40块就可以把它带回家啦。

The pentagon we opted above is not under the buffet range as the cost of glass itself is RM200. 

We just adored how the bonsai was scrupulously crafted and next, it's time to plant some trees. 

我们选的五角球不算是自助式的因为那玻璃球就已标价RM200了。还有我们选的树木也是精心制作的。

DIY kit contains essentials like hydrostones, carbon, potting soil and decorative sand. The instructor will guide you on how much quantity to place in respective layer.

这盒子里有必需品，沙子，石头和泥土。老师会教你如何摆放每一层材料。

Next, choose your favourite plants~

We have decided to grow moss in our pentagon glass while our friends were still contemplating of raising cactus or succulent plants. 

接下来是选植物啦。我们选了苔藓而我们的朋友在犹豫选择仙人掌还是绿叶植物。

Now this is the masterpiece done by our friends. I just can't get my eyes off of that adorable owl.

我们朋友完成啦。那猫头鹰很可爱吧。

And ta-daaaaa. Ours is completed too with the theme of 'old ah gong ah ma strolling in front of the lake watching after their cattle'.  Lol 

我们的主题是老公公婆婆拖着家禽一起赏湖。哈哈哈

Our first terrarium together.

We did not realize the time was passing so fast as we actually spent 4 hours of creating this together. Hence I think this is a great pastime for everybody and even for kids. 

其实我们花了4小时设计这盆景不过怎么好像一会儿时间就过了。所以说如果大家周末有时间，可以试试无妨，老少咸宜哦。
