Lingua Gustatio: Junk Cafe

What attracts the crowd the most in a cafe besides the food quality is the ambience. Today's cafe presents a rustic image surrounded by all kinds of antiques like 

old school tables and benches, lamps and clocks. 

槟城咖啡厅越来越多，所以一定要有特色才能吸引众多饕客。

今天这家有旧时风味，因为有满满的古董让你欣赏。

The cafe is not brightly lighted but the classic rusty lamps lit up the interior picturesquely revealing the moment similar to the 80's.

那古董式的灯火缓缓的点亮咖啡厅，有些80年代的感觉。

I somehow wonder is the cafe owner an antique collector? There is just too much of old school relics and decorations and my camera just could not stop snapping more and more pictures.

很喜欢这里的装饰，让我的相机不停刻的一直拍。呵呵。

Well back to the food. We grabbed a light bite as we had another dinner plan to go later on. Full of Junk and Chicken Blood Cream are their signatures. Besides you could have some alcoholic shots to go with the burgers like gin, vodka, tequila etc.

我们只是点了一份因为其实我们接下来去别地方吃晚餐。你也可以点他们的小酒来配上汉堡。

（有点不健康的说But who cares =P) 

Chicken Blood Cream (RM21) 

Grilled chicken breast soaked creamily in their unique Italian parmesan sauce and we opted for sweet potatoes fries instead of typical fries which were pretty sweet and crispy.

这道意大利芝士鸡肉汉堡是他们家的特点。酱汁很特别因为有浓郁的芝士，再搭上现炸的番薯条(也可以选薯条), 真的很好吃。(不过鸡胸肉有点硬。哎呀鸡胸肉嘛) 

Looking upon the retro images on a great wall of antiques. 

And we finally understand why it is rated so highly on the TripAdvisor because it portrays great vibes and the gourmet burgers are pretty up to our expectation (though I've only tried one and we heard the owner was one of the founders of former Marshall's burger)

 据说他们在TripAdvisor 评分很高，想必是氛围好，食物也佳所以大家都很欣赏他们。还有原来老板以前是Marshall's Burger的创办人难怪他们的汉堡都很有特色。

We will visit it again to try on other 'junk' burgers. Nevertheless, there's a downside as the cafe is not air-conditioned thus causing sweaty shirts in some hot days. 

下一次我们想试试其他的口味。不过里头好像没有冷气，可能会有些热。
