Lingua Gustatio: Botanica Mansion

One of my favourite recent pictures was taken at Botanica Mansion, an English mansion in Balik Pulau which houses suites, restaurant with gorgeous sprawling garden and even a private space for wedding. 

最近我大爱的一张照片就是在Botanica Mansion拍的。真的没想到在浮罗山背竟然会有那么英式风格的古楼。这里除了可以住上几晚，还有漂亮的庭院餐厅，甚至还有地方举办婚礼呢。

The reason we were there was for an exclusive event for a pair of lovebirds. Peacock Room in Botanica Mansion could be served as a little function space with around 20-30 pax as the place is pretty spacious. The romantic mural was painted by the talented artists Blijde Ligthart and James Lee 

with the peacock theme. 

其实我们今天到来是有小小的私人节目，是什么就不多说啦。呵呵 我们在这孔雀房逗留了几小时，地方真的很漂亮，看看那只孔雀壁画吗？那是著名的画家Blijde Ligthart and James Lee 亲手绘画的。

One of the best things to do is to enjoy a relaxing afternoon sitting on this veranda and have some high tea with best friends while looking upon the verdant greens. Tranquility is the 

perfect adjective to be used here.

走出孔雀房，可以到阳台享受一下阳光与下午茶。吹一吹山风，闻一闻草木，看一看山色，很是心旷神怡呀。

 

 当然也不忘拍拍照咯。=P

Next, we headed to the restaurant downstairs for dinner. 晚餐时间到咯。

Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread 蘑菇汤(Rm14.90) 

I personally adore the intensely earthy aroma of the mushrooms and this will definitely not disappoint you as we could taste the genuine flavour of mixed wild mushroom and 

saute oyster mushroom all over the soup.

这蘑菇汤是用真材实料的野菇，扇子菇熬成的所以汤里有浓浓的大自然香味，

而不是和市面上粉状的奶油蘑菇汤一般。

Chicken Lasagne 千层鸡肉面 Rm24.90

Made of minced chicken and tomato concasse (peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes) with butter and milk and plenty of mozzarella cheese. This lasagna is one of the expectably never-go-wrong dishes.

这意式千层面里头有鸡肉与番茄碎当内馅，外头有厚厚的芝士奶油在上，味道不错。

Smoked Duck Sandwich 烟熏鸭肉三文治 Rm26.90

First of all, I have to warn you guys that this is certainly a gigantic sandwich for two. Remember to share it with your friend unless you are a big eater. 

首先，这分量非常大！ 大！ 大！ 一个人吃不完！ （除非你有惊人的胃）

Made of paprika bread, thick chunks (not slices) of smoked duck topped with scrambled egg and parmesan cheese, it made one of my fullest dinner ever. Besides, we love how abundant 

the curly fries were served too!

那烟熏鸭肉不是一般薄薄的，而是厚底有嚼劲的，再加上炒蛋和芝士，还有满满的圈圈薯条，保证你真的一个人吃不完。不过真的很好吃啦。我们下次有机会还会再光临的。
