Again, I would like to introduce some great food from Alor Setar to you guys. If you have missed my previous posts, here they are.

Lingua Gustatio: What to eat in ALOR SETAR? 亚罗士打寻吃记
1. Arab Kitchen
#Shellout has turned into a recent trend and I'm pretty surprised the restaurants in Alor Setar selling shellout are more than the one in Penang. 手抓海鲜可说是最近很火红的吃法，就是海鲜等炒过了用双手品尝。
The fiery red sauce resembles the 'ayam masak merah' (Malay's spicy tomato sauce). It goes well with a cup of rice and in fact we topped up with a few bowls as the sauce is 'finger licking good'. Lol 这手抓海鲜是把螃蟹，虾子，蛤蜊和苏东以辣番茄配方大炒而成。
Once you have passed the Alor Setar Sultan Abdul Halim Airport (from Alor Setar to Kepala Batas direction), just go straight for around 2km and you will see the big signboard on your right and you need to make a u-turn. 从亚罗士打去Kepala Batas方向，经过机场大约两公里就到了，它在你的右手边。
You could opt for other dishes like chicken grill, lamb chop if you are not a big fan of seafood.
除了海鲜，你还可以点其他的如鸡扒，羊扒等等。

2. Blackwood Coffee & Chocolate Alor Setar
I strongly believe that a good restaurant owner must fully understand how the restaurant ambience plays its vital role in customer satisfaction and retention especially among the younger generation (like me =P). Undoubtedly the warm lighting of the restaurant makes it look comfy and cozy.
我认为每间餐厅都应该注重餐厅的氛围，一个舒适又美观的餐厅必定吸引人潮，尤其是现在处处打卡check in的年轻人。
Beef Lasagna 牛肉千层面
You would love the richness of the cheese in this layered pasta and remember to eat it when it's served delightfully hot. The below shows Spaghetti Marinara 海鲜意大利面 and some lime soda if I'm not mistaken.
Stoned Grilled Chicken Chop 鸡扒
I believe grilled chicken always suits well with the black pepper sauce but I kinda had a hard time finishing it as the portion was slightly too big for me.
这是我点的鸡扒，个人认为味道还不错因为黑胡椒和鸡肉常常是很搭的组合。而且分量有点大。
We were enticed by this promo recently but after we paid it a visit, we realized the food served was not up to our expectation, unlike our previous visits.
不过话说最近我们又去了一趟，因为有优惠套餐RM20还包括蘑菇汤和柠檬茶。
可惜食物并不比平时来的美味。

3. A/S Fresh Fruit Tea 鲜茶工坊
Kimchi Bibimbap (RM16?)
I don't really remember the name of the item but this would always be my first choice whenever I visit this place. It is Korean mixed rice with sliced pork, sunny side-up egg and kimchi. It combines the flavor of the sweet stewed pork and also the sour fermented cabbage.
这是我每次必点之一因为我很喜欢他的韩国泡菜和腌制猪肉片，还有大家最爱的煎蛋在饭的上面，好吃得不要不要的～
Well my friend prefers noodle over rice and this udon is always her favourite. The udon clear soup may look simple but its savory is enhanced with the addition of chilli flakes as seen on the top.
而我朋友最爱就是乌冬面，这汤面可能看起来很单调，不过吃起来有微辣和乌冬淡淡的鲜味。

4. RW Cafe (Rich World Cafe)
The pictures above were taken last year and apparently
they have revamped their cafe with different menu.

I would say the dishes are pretty average (without oomph perhaps?)
but also economical in price RM9.90 each.

Besides, from what I check on their Facebook updates, they do serve #shellout at the present too! That makes me feel like giving it a try next time.

5. Sky Garden Restro Bar
Ok saja wanna show my chubby photo. hahaha 嗨～
The fascinating ambience of the bar makes it most suitable for couples to have a romantic date.
很浪漫有情调的一个地方。
Spaghetti Carbonara
The rich creamy cheese would not fail you but you might need to order another side dish as the serving size is not that enough for big eater like me. Oops.
这意大利面味道浓郁，芝士味覆盖了在每条面条上，可惜分量有点小。（还是可能我很大吃。呵呵）
Well the steak fares excellently with its tenderness remained and topped with the unique sauce. 话说牛扒卖相和实质上味道都不错，挺美味的。
Nonetheless, here's a lil update about my last visit. We celebrated our friend's birthday with around 20 of us. Most of the food served was not up to our expectation. (The chicken was not well cooked and the salmon was overcooked etc) We were totally not sure what happened to the chef's team but I would still revisit the place to give it a second try.
可惜的是，某一回我们一伙二十人去庆祝朋友生日，那天食物时有些许问题，鸡肉不熟，
三文鱼过熟。。希望下次去会有改善吧。

6. Tiffz Coffee Gallery
Last but not least, this is my all time favourite cafe in Alor Setar which serves a wide variety of pizza, pasta and even waffles. 这咖啡厅是我认为在亚罗士打最棒的。
他们有卖各式各样的皮萨，意大利面和松饼。
I guess no girls could resist the sweet tooth temptation of this ice cream waffles. 哇～

Some people would say this pasta is too rich as you can see the pasta is totally soaked in the ebiko cream pasta but I just love it. #dontcareaboutthecalories
他们有黑或白意大利面给客人选，皮萨也有分黑或白，以及他们著名的咸蛋皮萨。（可惜忘了拍照）不过我不太爱那咸蛋皮萨因为味道偏甜。反而意大利面都不错吃哟。
