Lingua Gustatio: Roti Bakar Kacang Phool Penang

It has been a long while again and today I shall introduce something different to you guys. This Roti Bakar Kacang Phool first captured my attention when I read the review from Jack. 

My boy and I decided to try on it when we passed by Tanjung Tokong.

今天想和大家介绍一种来自中东的美食叫 Kacang Phool。

之前在Jack的部落格看见关于这美食，所以我们也想试一试。

If you wonder what is Kacang Phool (ful), it is a traditional Middle East recipe made of fava beans. Incorporated with spiced ground beef or chicken, it makes a really unique dish.

传说中的Kacang Phool，也叫ful是由蚕豆及各种香料熬成，味道十足特别。

There is another side of the menu but I didn't manage to capture it. The lovely owners (mother and daughter) state that they are the first, one & only selling ful in Penang. Besides, they also run a homemade bakery - Sugar & Salt Patissere in which 

the main emphasis of both is food flavour and freshness.

老板娘是一对母女称他们是第一个在槟城卖这道美食的，还有他们强调的是食物的原味和鲜度。所有材料都是当天准备的。除此，他们还有一间自家蛋糕店叫Sugar&Salt Patiserre也是很受欢迎的。

The stall is located in front as the first in the food court. The place was pretty empty as there were only few stalls operating in that afternoon. 

Perhaps the place is still new and yet to be discovered by foodie like me.

他们的档口是第一间，其实当天人不多，档口也是寥寥可数,

可能是这个food court还蛮新的，不多人知道。

（对了，隔壁几间的豆水还蛮好喝的呵呵。）

Drum rolls for the Kacang Phool (Chicken) and Roti Bakar

The aroma of smashed bean dip is so appetizing and by breaking the yolk, the taste of yolk substantially enhances the flavour together with the fresh lime and onions. Meanwhile the accompanying roti bakar (toast) adds a little local twist as originally pita bread is served. You could pick any fillings for the toast (plain/ cheese/ garlic/ both) but personally I think the plain one would be good enough to go with the ful.

主角来啦，蚕豆鸡肉酱+烤面包真的很香，鸡蛋又加上柠檬葱头辣椒，味道丰富十足。

而烤面包拿来配这酱非常适合。

Next, we ordered a Fajitas with beef (beef wrap) which may seem plain and simple but trust me, it contains more than what it looks. The stewed beef pieces are incredibly filling and of course delectable. My boy said he would skip the next meal after having this. lol

薄饼牛肉可能看起来很普通不过可以吃得出老板的用心。肉汁鲜美,

而且男友说他吃这一份就足够了因为很饱。呵呵
