DAY 3 - Nantou 南投
Such a grateful morning when we woke up seeing this on the table. All these were prepared by the homestay owner (Sun Moon Lake Huopendi Homestay), genuinely homecooked.
一早起来就有家乡早餐等候，很幸福呀。日月潭活盆地民宿老板娘厨艺真的很好。
After having the delicious home dishes, we checked out from the homestay and headed to
Xiang Shan Visitor Centre.
接着我们去向山看风景。

They even had the exhibition of power production and distribution.
这里还有台湾电力公司的展览，介绍日月潭怎么用水力发电。
真美啊~
Next, we visited Sun Moon Lake Wen Wu Temple which venerates both civil and martial Gods. This is actually a rare scene as generally not both deities are located together in the same temple.
昨天我们参观月老庙，今天我们就到文武庙拜见文公和武神。呵呵
So this girl is a 'divination drawer' as she would slide into the room automatically to get your divination.
要求签不必用签，就按一按，这小女子就会递一张给你。
Puli Winery, a place where you can learn and garner the knowledge of how wine is produced. I recommend you go up to the first floor for the exhibition and go shopping in the ground floor afterwards.
之后我们到埔里酒厂喝酒逛逛。看一看绍兴酒是怎么制作的。楼上有展览，楼下是商店。
Ice cream with Shaoxing wine is unique but peculiar..lol
绍兴酒冰棒有点奇怪，吃不惯哈哈。
MUST-BUY! The aroma of Shaoxing wine in the egg is relatively strong and very pleasing.
绍兴酒蛋必买！！可惜老板说一定得放在冰箱，我们还有几天行程，不能买回去马来西亚。T_T
This 'Beauty Leg' noodle is Puli signature and wonder what is beauty leg? It's the long and straight bamboo shoot, signifying a pair of appealing legs.
所谓的美人腿即是茭白笋，我个人不喜欢可是这个汤面里笋的味道不重，还可以接受。
Our lunch was at the well known Su Mama Tangyuan which prioritizes glutinous rice balls with fillings.
午餐来到著名的苏妈妈汤圆，真的很多人呢。

One of their signature dishes is this tangyuan with minced pork but honestly
I still prefer sweet dessert over this salty one.
咸汤圆里头包的是碎肉，不错不过我还是喜欢吃甜的。
NT$335 for all the food above, reasonable price for four of us.
价钱还ok,四人吃台币335。
Next, we had this 'Feeling 18'c' ice cream. Bet it was the best ice cream in my life!
很爱很爱这18‘c冰淇淋~~~有很多很多口味哦。

Their homemade dark choc is also uniquely soft and creamy but the price is pretty high (NT$360)
其实18'c特色是手工巧克力，黑巧克力是我的喜爱不过价钱偏高，这一盒要台币360。

Reminds me of Kundasang which I missed so much in my last Sabah trip.
真的很喜欢这里，很像我刚刚去的沙巴Kundasang。
Hey lil pony~ 喂小马儿。
All the above were delicious except for the goat milk ice cream as I personally don't fancy its strong flavour.
冰淇淋好好吃可是羊奶的味道有点騒。
Don't forget to catch the show of Mongolian Horse Show. We were impressed that even a 4-year-old girl could ride a pony and do stunts.
大家在看蒙古马术表演，很惊叹一个4岁小妹妹也可以骑马做动作，骑术了得。
Next we visited Swiss Garden (NT$120 Adult)
接下来，我们去小瑞士花园看看花儿~
这里真的是拍照好地点噢。
Ok, enough of my own narcissistic pictures. hahaha next we moved to Cingjing Carton King.
Carton King Creativity Park, a popular theme restaurant all made up from corrugated cardboard. It has more than 7 branches in Taiwan and even China. Everything from scratch like tables, chairs even the bowl is made from papers.
之后我们到清境纸箱王创意园区，任何你看得，碰的都是纸皮做成的。
They also promote their homemade honey as well with different variety of flavours.
这里也有蜜蜂特区，有很多种口味。
City Cafe @ 7-11 always your best companion for snacks & drinks.
纸箱王隔壁就是7-11了，不用担心肚子饿啦。
We had our dinner at Adong Roast Chicken next. 晚餐在阿东窯仔鸡

After the dinner, we couldn't wait to check into our hotspring hotel~~ 晚上我们留宿温泉酒店呀。

Quite a decent and cozy room with in-room hotspring。
According to the owner, the Lushan hotspring is non odour, non colour as the geothermal water from the ground is naturally alkaline. You could even drink it if you wish.
庐山泉水是无臭，无色，无味，全是从泉底自然涌出的。老板说还可以拿来饮用。
Anyway, the tub is slightly small for 2 pax...can't really stretch my legs lol
可惜泉池有点小，两个人泡很挤。
Apparently they used to have this outdoor hot spring spa but I think they close it down temporarily due to off peak season.
据说他们也有提供露天温泉，不过现在没开。
DAY 4 (Nantou 南投- Taichung 台中)
Another local Taiwan breakfast was served by the hotel, ranging from braised vege, porridge, chicken floss, pickles and also the weird bamboo shoot..(ain't my fav)
又是一餐台湾早餐由民宿提供。全部都好吃除了。。。笋。。>_<
Next we went to the main branch of Carton King at Dakeng.
昨天去清境纸箱王，今天到大坑总站！
Don Don Yu Yuan is the best place for a cooling dessert in this hot scorching weather. We really love the original Taiwanese taro ball that tastes way better than our local ones.
东东芋圆很适合在大热天来解暑。我个人超爱芋圆，比起马来西亚这里真的是很正宗的。

They do have many mushroom farms here as well. You could harvest the mushrooms on your own or buy the pre-packed fresh/ dry mushrooms.

The distance from mushroom farm to Lavender Cottage is merely 7km but
the journey was tough with bumps and twists.
接下来我们去熏衣草森林，从百菇莊去只有7公里不过路途颠簸，还蛮辛苦。

Another best thing about Taiwan is you could get free food tasting at every shops. *Slurps at the fresh oysters*

We bought some sashimi and headed to Gaomei Wetlands to catch the glimpse of sunset.
我们买了一点沙西米，然后到高美湿地去看日落。

This is where we had our dinner 新蚵状元 at Fengjia. Their signature is fresh oysters that cost only NT$9 each.
这里鲜蚝才卖九元，又便宜又好吃。
Super duper spicy peppery cockles that made my throat sore =.=
这盘胡椒刺螺辣死我喉咙。
Taiwan oysters are undoubtedly fresh and delightful with reasonable price too. 棒棒哒~
We actually finished the food above and the fish was still not cooked. Grilling it takes time according to the owner and the total bill was around NT$900.
吃完了所有食物，我们的烤鱼都还没熟，老板说这烤鱼得花一些时间嘛。今天晚餐台币玖佰。（鱼很贵呢）

Yummy! Wonder why isn't it available in Malaysia. =(
为什么马来西亚麦当劳没有绿茶红豆冰淇淋。
Since we were back to Fengjia, our last visit would be the night market again.
话说我们又回到了逢甲夜市。
The famous Devil Fried Chicken - We prefer it to be spicier but apparently all fried chicken in Taiwan do have very bland taste compared to ours. Anyway, the chicken size was huge exactly like the one in the ads. lol
前天在高雄瑞丰吃天使鸡排，这逢甲恶魔和它味道差不多。其实我觉得台湾鸡排不是很重口味，不过鸡肉是真的很大片。
生煎包，在恶魔鸡排隔壁，还蛮好吃的，小心被烧烧的汤汁烫到噢。
We almost shopped until 12AM (too many food and clothing to buyyyy) and returned to our Fengjia Europe Homestay (NT$2000) which was the same we stayed for our first night. Read here about it.
我们又回到了逢甲小欧洲民宿（第一篇介绍过了）啦。这次住在三楼，搬行李好辛苦啊啊啊。
