Lingua Gustatio: DCOVA Cafe

I was caught by this catchy name DCOVA when I first passed by Lebuh Bishop.It just sounded so captivating and we decided to pay a visit. Having located in the heart of the Georgetown, right next to The Cruises Steak House, it must be a tourist attraction spot indeed. 

某天经过Bishop Street, 发现了一间外观很不错的咖啡厅，名字也很特别，叫DCOVA. 

 It was still Christmassy with the lights & decorations. *Jingle bells~ Jingle bells~* 
由于是圣诞节期间，整间店都有浓厚的圣诞装饰，很漂亮。

 

 Flipping through the menu... Actually, there were not much of food choices, (pretty good for decidophobias like me) so we just ordered their signature dish & beverages.
其实，对我来说，选择项目不多是件好事。因为我有选择困难症。哈哈。最后选了他们的招牌菜。

Here comes the Affogato (RM8.90)

Didn't know it was a gelato, apparently it was an espresso shot topped with vanilla ice cream. Yums! (I just ate the entire ice cream because as you know, I don't fancy coffee.lol) But it is certainly a special beverage and that's how it becomes one of their signatures.

首先登场的是甜品，还以为是饮料，没想到是浓浓的Espresso配上了香草冰淇淋。咖啡的苦味被甜甜的冰淇淋中和了，连我这不喝咖啡的也觉得好吃。（当然我吃了大部分的冰淇淋。）哈。

 Ebiko Alfredo (RM21.90)

Well, we didn't expect ebiko can be such a savour to go with alfredo sauce. It just melted in my mouth together with the crunchy seaweed. The portion seems to be slightly full to me, and btw small piece of advice, better finish it fast before it gets cold. 
虾卵紫菜配上Alfredo意大利面，意味着中西合拼也有一番滋味。分量有点大，还有记得要趁热吃，冷了会没那么美味。

 

Classic BLT (RM19.90)

Big sandwich stuffed with bacon, cheese with fresh vege. Honestly, this tasted rather too plain to me, perhaps I was too contented with the ebiko dish and yeah, made a slight comparison. haha. So thoughtful of them, the sandwich came in 2 pieces that made it easy for sharing and girls could eat it gracefully without gnawing at the food widely.

培根三文治，里头有些酱汁和新鲜蔬菜，虽然味道稍淡，（可能是之前的意大利面味道较浓）但也是不错的。可幸的是他们把三文治分成两块，比较容易入口，还可以和大家一起分享。

The desserts corner. Would try them out the next time as we were too FULL. *burps* 

下次再尝尝他们的蛋糕因为实在是太饱了。哈哈

吃饱就用包包遮住肚子。哈哈哈

Very cozy interior layout, I wish I could just stay there all day indulged in the coffee scent (though I don't drink coffee lol). However, the place seems to be slightly narrow and confined, I personally don't suggest coming with a big bunch of friends. 厅里设计简单而来又很舒适，可惜位子有限，不能带很多朋友。
