Penang, the pearl of the orient is always well known by its local cuisine, especially SEAFOOD. This Sea Pearl Lagoon Cafe is situated just beside the Tanjung Bungah beach and for all year long, you can get the ample supply of crabs, prawns, clams & fishes. 

東方之珠-槟城的美食是无可否认的出色。在这个美丽的宝岛，海鲜当然也是数一数二的佳肴之一。海珠屿海鲜位置于Tanjung Bungah海滩旁边。连年都有丰富的海鲜供应。（鱼虾蟹通通都有）

Baked crabs 烤螃蟹1kg RM46 

The crabs looked kinda appealing initially but to our disappointment, they were not as fresh as we thought. The sizes were not up to our expectations as well. Anyway, the natural taste of the crabs was good as I personally prefer crabs served without additional seasoning.

看起来美味，吃起来普通，还有螃蟹有点太小只了，或许我对螃蟹要求比较高因为我最喜欢原汁原味新鲜的螃蟹。

Smoked prawns 烟熏大虾 0.5kg RM19

Thumbs up for these lovely prawns! You could even taste the seawater embedded inside the prawns.lol We should have ordered another plate. 

喜欢这香味十足的大虾，有海水的味道。（废话，海鲜肯定有海水味，证明这很新鲜啦！）

Coconut Juice 椰汁 

Apparently, this is their best seller other than seafood. Well, this is definitely the best match with seafood to quench your thirst in a scorching hot weather. 

畅销椰汁，清凉解渴，很适合在这火热的天气中解暑。

Fried Bihun for two 炒米粉 两人份 RM12

I'm not a fan of char bihun, so this is so-so to me but the best part is they serve plenty of cabbage and chicken inside too. 

本人不爱吃炒米粉，但也不错啦，有很多料。哈哈

We overheard from the customers on the table beside that the clams were yummy too! They also recommended the satay as well. We will order that next time when we come in a big group.haha

Other than the food, you can't miss the panoramic scenery behind the restaurant. On that auspicious day, there were 2 pairs of couple having their wedding photoshoots here! It is indeed a recommended place for photoshoot as I have personally done it myself few months back.

Review

Taste: 7/10 (Recommended for all seafood lovers)

Price: 6/10 (The price has gone slightly higher compared to the last time, undeniably due to the influence of economy inflation)

Service: 7/10 (Food was served pretty fast)

Ambience: 4/10 (What I despise the most is the FLIES attack! OMG I was so busy fanning the flies away till I spilled my coconut juice. T_T ) 

Ps: If you can't find the location, you can just ask the local people where is the Tua Peh Kong. They start their business at 11am, thus it's utterly not a big deal to have a seafood brunch! =D
